Wow. Never expected to stick to anything so long. Have to say, I'm not surprised with Jade, though. She's a busy girl, and, as you'll come to know, a brilliant one. Her ideas are so well formulated and thought out, her plots so creative, there's no chance she'll be anything other than great. She knows she's better at it then me, even if she'll never admit it. If she could stick to things longer, she'll be better than...no not better then, best. Just best.
Getting back to my story, I have to admit I have no idea where I'm going plot wise. Shit just keeps appearing on the Word document under the frantic flying of my fingers and I just keep running with it. So my little succubus has gotten into some deep emotional/psychological shit. Her inner evil, aka Viola, is being her regular evil bitchy self, and causing some serious trauma. Dyana is trying to figure herself out, and all the while, the royalty from Baroth are coming, Oh, no! Ok, so none of you know what the hell I'm talking about, but that's fine. You see, I have some resident paranoia issues with my stories. I don't like divulging plot points to anyone, in fear of being ripped off. Don't be offended, sweet reader, I don't let my own family read my shit. It's sad really, but with time, I believe I'll be able to part with some of my writing. Maybe if I had motivation to... (ahem, *review*) I might be more inclined to.
I don't think any of you care enough, though. So no harm, no foul.
Anyway (oh, GOD, why do we have such ridiculous slang nowadays? AnyHOODLES? RiDONKCULOUS?), onto my favorite bit of writing for the day. Here we go. Instead of one sentence, I'll give you a few (see, I'm already becoming more comfortable with you!).
A young succubus lay in a pool of light, her black wings torn, her dark blood oozing to the floor. Her tears, a corresponding black, roll down her pale grey cheeks, staining them. Her fingers are bloodied and torn. She has no fingernails, instead sharp talons top her fingers. A whip-like scaled tale flicks out from beneath her. Small, ivory horns curl from her scalp. Her eyes, however, are the thing that scares me. They are a brilliant shade of the purest gold.
What do you think? In the story, the succubi are grey-skinned, red-haired, black-eyed creatures with black wings. That's why the gold eyes startled her. So I've got to be going (again). I told you Jade is better at blogging than I. She just sounds more natural.
'Till Tomorrow.
Scarlet Carson.
