True to Day Two

Word count: 1011 words Total word count: 2016 words

Helluva second day, I'll tell you. Busy as hell in the morning, busy in the afternoon. Didn't even get home 'till six. Bloody hell, how time flies, neh? Got a good chunk of plot done. Made Dyana start choosing her "donors". Have to admit, loving the possible male lead so far. His name's Raytry. I know, not the best name, but it's the first one that came to me. I'll tell you, ALWAYS stick with the first name, because everything else you try will sound wrong and everytime you think of that character, you'll always refer to them mentally by the name you first picked for them. There's just no way of getting around it.

Anyway, I'm sure by now you've noticed my partner in crime missed a day. She took her time writing out a thorough outline, the smartie. I never seem to take the time to write a decent one, so I'm always rushing through my writing trying to get all my ideas out instead of taking my time and going over them all like I should. It's one of the great things about a "words-per-day" challenge. I feel compelled to stay in a constant rhythm of writing, so everything flows nicely and doesn't feel sprinted through. It keeps things even. It's comforting to go home and know you're going to be doing some writing.

Unfortunately, I am exceedingly busy during the week, so I must cut this entry short (well, at least I wrote one, JADE).

Be seein' ya,

Scarlet.

p.s: Improper diction only works if you use the proper puntcuation. Note the " ' " where a "g" should have been. This marks it as intentional.
